About us

MoonRock Diamonds is a trading name of [Company name] Ltd (trading as MoonRock Diamonds), a company registered in England and Wales under company number [company number], with its registered office at [registered address]. Email [email address] or call [phone number].

Using this website

The website presents our collections for private enquiry. Pieces are not sold through an online checkout. Images are for illustration; because every diamond is unique, the stone supplied may differ slightly in appearance from the one shown.
All content on this website, including images, text and designs, belongs to MoonRock Diamonds and may not be copied without our written permission.

Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry or booking an appointment does not create a contract. A specialist will confirm the details, specification and price of your piece in writing. Quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise, as diamond and precious metal prices can change.

Orders and deposits

A contract is formed when we send you an invoice and you pay it, or pay the deposit stated on it. For made-to-order and bespoke pieces we ask for a deposit before production begins. The balance is due before delivery or collection.
Ownership of the piece passes to you when we receive payment in full. Risk passes to you on delivery or collection.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, if any, are shown on your invoice. We accept the payment methods shown on your invoice. For high-value purchases we may need to verify your identity before accepting payment, as required by anti-money laundering regulations.

Bespoke and personalised pieces

Pieces made to your specification, resized at your request or engraved are personalised items. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 these are not covered by the 14-day cancellation right. Once production has started, the deposit is non-refundable as it covers stones and materials sourced for you.

Cancellation

For ready-made pieces bought at a distance (not in person), you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the item. See our Delivery and Returns page for how to return a piece.

Certification and descriptions

Diamonds are supplied with the grading certificate stated on your invoice. We describe each piece as accurately as possible. Minor variations in measurements and colour that fall within industry tolerances are not defects.

Faulty items and your rights

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If a piece is faulty or not as described, please contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it as the law requires.
Wear and tear, accidental damage and damage caused by alterations made by anyone other than MoonRock Diamonds are not faults.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
